Marble and Granite are possibilities.
I don't think Spinel suits the others.

How about something like fire and water like fire red leaf green. Maybe yellow spark and sea blue?

Nice names.. Or ghost and psychic/dark names.. no but they will prove too weird.

Such as Black Darkness and Purple Ghost or even, lol, pink psychic

From what we know, the first games are one-word.

To be more specific I will name the 7 Heavenly Gems:
Topaz; Gold as the setting sun
Amethyst; Purple as violets
Diamond; clear as ice
Emerald; Green as lush Grass
Lapis-lazuli; Midnight blue with pinpoints of silver
Ruby; red as blood
Opal; all Colors of the rainbow

Emerald and Ruby are already done.

So we have 4 left? Which are, Topaz, Amethyst, lapis Lazuli and Opal. I'd love a Lapis Lazuli version.
