Is it worth buying the actual DS?

If you can afford I suggest buying it, but if you can't just download a emulator since they are free.

But then the problem would be buying the DS just to play Black/White.

I don't know what to do. :/

Well, i got my ds as a gift, you dont get many ds games in cochin anyway, in penta you do, you'll have to ship most of your games, or you could get an R4 but you need to ship that too, the R4's here ripped me off...

R4? Yeah, I know there aren't many DS games here. Which is why I'm really confused about whether to buy one or not.

So moral of the story...
Download a DS Emulator and Black and White ROM and fulfill ur dreamz.. Jk... Jk...

But I got White as a prize and it might arrive here soon. That's why it's so confusing whether or not to get a DS.

Oh, and I tried a DS emulator (forgot which one) once to play Platinum. It was soooo sloooow.

Bcoz u might hv a slow comp..

Or the emulator might be an earlier version of desmume, coz they are so slow even on a computer with RAM 3GB and processor of speed of 2.2GHz, until it is set in a proper way.

I think you'll have to patch it though, just read the instructions there

I've posted a thread in Generation 5 forum with the link of pre-patched ROMs. HERE.

The patch doesn't work. Hellp. : (
