I want to write a fanfic too.
But I am not getting a nice plot from which I can develop a story.

Well, it depends on what you want to write. First you have to think of a good plot rotating around a genre. Ask yourself if you want a horror, humor, sci-fi etc story. Then you have to think of potential characters to revolve around the genre. Think, ideas can blossom.
