Nintendo has officially announced a new model of the DSi; the Nintendo DSi LL (Called Nintendo DSi XL in Europe).
The new features includes an improved battery life, a 4.2" screen, and new pen stylus.

It will be larger than all the DS's and heavier (over half a pound). It will, however, be thinner than the original DSi. The battery life is also extended to 13 - 17 hours of play, depending on the brightness setting.

It will be released in Japan on the 21st November, 2009, and will cost ¥20,000 (USD $245). It will come in 3 colors; Wine Red, Dark Brown, and Natural White.

It has been announced by Nintendo Europe that it will come to Europe in Q1 of 2010.

Heh, I was just going to post about DSi XL and I see it's already here.. Great! Didn't know our members are that active, lol.

Yup, even I'm looking forward to DSi XL. I wanted to check out DSi, but I guess it's no use as the screen size is the same. Having a 4" is like pwning the PSP finally, when PSP fans try to compare it with DS.

I already have a Lite so I guess no XL. Not that I envy.

So do I, but it's even more worth to get a DSi XL than it was for us to get DSi.. I so crave for a larger screen.. better gameplay =)

Well I rarely do get to buy consoles so I guess I will rather wait for the next console.
