July Corocoro (Japanese magazine) scans of Diamond/Pearl:



Some new information about the game was revealed :

• Day/Night Returns: Enhanced from Gold/Silver to have multiple times of day. 深夜(Nighttime), 夜(Night), 夕方 (Evening), 昼(Noon), 朝(Morning)
• The new region for Pearl/Diamond シンオウ (Shinou) is based on the Japanese island, 北海道 (Hokkaido)
• A new Pokemon Professor will be in the game. His name is: ナナカマド博士 (Dr. Nanakamado)
• Manaphy is genderless and can learn the new move, ハートスワップ (Heart Swap) which swaps status effects between all Pokémon on the field
• Manaphy's ability is 潤いボディ (Moist Body), which cures status effects during rain.
• A new watch gadget called a ポケッチ (Pokétchi), not only tells the time, but has over 20 Features: Time
• Management, Monitoring of Pokémon in the Breeding Center, Type Chart and many more
• ブイゼル (Buoysel) is #056 in the Shinou Pokédex and knows Agility. It's ability is Swift Swim.
• ルカリオ (Lucario) knows Metal Claw and it's ability is Inner Focus.
• The Pokémon Sprites vary between Male & Female Pokémon. Different patterns are on the different genders aswell as bigger or smaller features or even missing features.
• The new Shinou region Pokedex has 2 screens similar to the Nintendo DS.
• The Pokédex now features a weight comparison feature

For those who don't know the new 4th generation pokemon set for this new game, they are:

Manaphy (マナフィ)


Buoysel (ブイゼル)


Perap (ペラップ)


Tamanta (タマンタ)


As the tradition goes, Gamefreak is slowly revealing the Pokemon, so these are just 4 of them, excluding the other 4th Generation pokemon that made appearance in Movie 8 - Lucario, Weavile, Munchlax, Mime Jr., Bonsly. These 5 names are the official English dub names, while the new 4 Pokemon given above only possess the Japanese romanized name. All these 9 Pokemon are set to appear in Diamond/Pearl.

W000T... Coz once I just realised it has those awesum Mudkip-like fins... and ya'll shud know that MUDKIP... OMG... <3 <3 <3.. MY FAV ADVANCED POKEMON *^^*

I can't wait to watch it in the anime Perap is already coming up in the Anime soon in one of the July AG episodes (20th July - AG 183 ペラップとポケモン漫才！ Perap and the Pokémon Comedian!)...
