Generation 4 was the worst generation of pokemon ever made and the creators should be ashamed of themselves for creating it! They ruined a lot of my old school favorites as well as creating a lot of lame/weird designs for these new pokemon

Generation 3 was a little crapish.
Generation 4 is fantastic because it introduced the evolutions of some previous generation pokemon.

I think gen 3 remade the entire pokemon ecosystem, they fitted the new pokemon into the original ecological nichés .
Gen 4 felt more like a follow-up and attempting to add more balance and colour to the biosphere, much like gen 2 (the original nichés were completely undisturbed,while adding more, like pidgey was kept as the common bird while the hoothoot line was simply a nighttime bird line, of course this could be because of the geographical closeness of Kanto and Johto)
Gen 3, as I said replaces stuff like Clamperl instead of shellder
Gen 4 gives us additional niches like draconian land sharks that live in caves that need Flash!
I have no objections to the designs, all of them, maybe not probopass, are okay for me. ( i think nosepass's hideous too btw)
